Meet Our Professionals
I have learnt so much about the educational industry doing what I love for more than 12 years. I have learnt about people of various races, genders, people with disabilities and social stance. I have learnt that for people with disabilities there should be a life without limits. I have seen societies fail to provide things for people from different places to equally compete and have seen the tragedy thereof.
I have learnt that disabilities do not determine one’s potential and that for people who are viewed as ‘different’ the biggest obstacle to overcome are perceptions. We, as a provider of education have learnt that the secret in education lies in respecting the student and that the purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows. I have seen that the investment in knowledge pays the best interest and that there is no greater disability in society than the inability to see a person as more.
The following four pillars of success differentiates us from our competitors:
Leadership – We believe that great leaders do not set out to be leaders, a great leader sets out to make a difference. We believe it is not about the role but about the goal. Thus, we encourage a ‘lead yourself’ culture. Our function as leaders is to produce more leaders, not more followers. The courage to fulfil our vision as leaders becomes our passion, not position.
Focus – Winston Churchill said: You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks. I believe this to be one of the truest definitions of focus. When we first started our company, our goal was not to fight the old, or old ways of the industry, but rather to create the new. We ensure laser like focus on any and all tasks at hand and it becomes a way of thinking. There will always be a misperception on what focus is but in our company it will always be partly measured by the number of times we had to say no in order to apply all our energy on the things we said yes to.
Passion – Intelligence without passion is like a bird without wings. Mark Twain once said: The two most important days in your life is the day you are born and the day you find out why. We at LFP have found out why. We are like birds with wings! Once something is a passion, the motivation is there. People always ask me what we do differently, and I always answer that to teach someone how to do a job is easy so we select people that have a passion for our industry and those are the ones we employ.
Integrity – The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity. Without it no real success is possible. Whether on a sporting field, in your personal life or in the office, if you truly want to be confident on the outside it begins with having integrity on the inside. Bob Marley said: The greatness of a man is not how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively. I believe that education is the passport to the future. I believe that if you do not have a competitive advantage you cannot compete.
I believe that patience and persistence are an unbeatable combination for success. I know that our clients are our greatest source of learning as a company, that our efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction and that success happens when we add value to ourselves, but that significance happens when we add value to others.
We will innovate and change to improve and do it often to be perfect. We will have consistent actions to create consistent results.
